CIC screen gone off
It was working fine, but went off and has stayed off.
Just before hand I had a low battery warning, which was probably my fault for leaving the doors open and stereo on when doing something! I seem to think I've read somewhere else the screen going off due to low battery? Any one else had this? The sound/radio/music collection all play fine still |

I've had this a couple of times when the battery has been disconnected.
It's normally come back on after battery is connected again and left overnight. If not then it could be an issue with the lead that goes between the head unit and screen.

I might stick it on the battery charger to give it a boost |

Sadly it didn't fix itself this morning.
Some searching later I noticed a thread regarding the glovebox and boot lights, I checked mine and they weren't working, bingo! According to the diagram here it is fuse 61, but mine was fine. Turned out to be F62. I know the E91 has some strange wiring changes compared to the other e9x models, so maybe that is why. The main thing is, the screen is now working again |
