My attempt at a detail - Montego blue

I did a half ass detail on my own car a few evenings ago. Main point was to get rid of some scratches on my hood and some bird drop etchings on the trunk. Scratches are still there but very light and the etchings are 100% gone.

Products used were:

Jeffs AutoBody Wash
Menzerna P0106FF
Menzerna SIP
Jeffs Acrylic Jett (2 coats)
CG Pete's 53 wax
CG tire dressing (forget the name)

not going into much detail I know. I will say I love the Pete's 53 wax....easy on...easy off and a great deep shine. I've never topped my sealant w/ carnuba, didnt know what I was missing.

Took these shots of the end product the next morning. Neighbors giving me strange looks as always as I'm squirming around in my suit taking pictures.

Hey whats a good quick detailer to use that now that I have a layer of carnuba on the car? I've seen Jeff's Carnuba Glos, looks interesting as it will keep the wax layer built up during quick details.

any other suggestions?

I might have used a few more, didnt list glass cleaners and other little stuff like that. I have a Menzerna glaze but since I didn't use the Porter Cable on the whole car I decided not to apply the glaze everywhere. Also I did use a CG clay on the necessary areas, but not the whole thing......like I said, kinda half assed. I do keep the car really clean though in general.

Yea, and if you want a more cost effective approach for volume use, you can buy it of ADS from the Detailers Line's new synthetic detailer in gallons. Same product, different target buyer.

still looking pretty good today! you know you love your car too much when as soon as you get to work you want to walk back out the door and go drive!

Car still has a great shine, just wiped it down w a microfiber to dust it off last night.

This is outside my office, strategically parked to minimize possible door dings.
