Replacing my 1996 328i...
Finally submitted my purchase order on Monday, March 3rd for a ED delivery on Saturday, July 5th (confirmed, just waiting on time of day). Kudos to Philippe K at South Bay BMW for smooth handling, and excellent knowledge, of the process. Highly recommend him to anyone in SoCal looking to do ED.

my last car was a '97 e36 328i (non sport). there was a 4 yr period with no car (lived in nyc). my current is e90 335i m sport w/step.
imho, in ten years, they have: * made the trunk bigger (rft) * increased rear leg room * better leather (dakota) * better interior plastics * better seats, but slightly worse center arm-rest/driving position * 55% more hp ![]() * hi-tech step transmission with DS/DTC/paddle shifter, but the simple ole one was perfect for that engine ![]() I love the new car, but feel the old one was perfect in terms of balance--the new one is too powerful and always tempts me to speed and frustrates me in city traffic. I feel i could always push the old one closer to its limit, whereas with the new one, i am barely scratching the surface...i guess thats a good problem to have... |
