painting the trim?
There's something that bugs me everytime I get in my car...!
I can't believe I ordered a grey poplar trim with my Coral Red interior (No offence to other's with this trim) It's just not for me..... They looked much sportier when it was inside the dealership than being in a direct sunlight. Now I want to paint them black (similar to high gloss or piano black). Just wondering if anyone know where I can get the painted??? any reputable shop recommendation would be greatly appreciated! P.S if anyone with aluminum trim want to trade, I'll be open to that idea too. Seriously though, if you have coral red interior stick with aluminum. Grey, cream beige, or saddle brown would look really good with grey poplar trim. |

I think you should keep your eyes open on the Marketplace section...get an used one set with the color that you like, at least you have a choice to switch back. Are you leasing your car? If you are, then for sure you don't want to paint it, coz you need to return back with the OEM set that they give you. GL!!

Yeah I am leasing the car, that's why I'm considering trading with aluminum too. My first option would be to paint them in high gloss trim. I know that E92 328i has high gloss trim as an option on the website. Maybe I'll just call Parkview and see if they can change them with any of the cars on the lot. (hopefully they will have high gloss) so when can u take me on a ride in V2? |

if you paint...the possibility of chipping becomes greater especially cause its the interior and is prone to wear and tear (nails, seatbelts, etc...)
keep your eyes open and purchase some piano gloss ones! i'd be down for a GB!

I picked up a used burl walnut trim for my car that I'm going to have painted high gloss black...let me know how you make out with this, maybe we can find a bodyshop to paint it properly together.

To bad you have an E92, I'm on the border of getting rid of my carbon fiber interior.
