Hey guys I'm looking to purchase some headlights off eBay but i don't know if my car came stock with halogens or xenon HID, i purchased the car with aftermarket headlights.... any ideas?

using the vin it says it has XENON LIGHT, but how could the previous owner put in aftermarket headlights if they came stock xenon?

There have been cases of people not taking care of their headlights or noticing condensation. Just a short exposure can cause our headlights to stop working properly or he could have gotten into a accident and needed to replace them.

no what I'm trying to say is that if you want to buy aftermarket headlights like the ones installed currently it says they only fit bmws that come with stock Halogen not Xenon

I see why you are confused now. Unfortunately idk what else to tell you. You can take a look at the ballast and wiring see if its oem or not. Wouldn't make sense for them to replace all of that stuff unless it was a halogen to xenon conversion right?

I got my OEM headlight from rockauto.com, was cheaper than any I could find on eBay, shipping to canada was also way cheaper

Xenon stock? If so could you send me a pic of your headlight plug/connector to see if it is the same as mine?

yeah thats the same plug as mine Xenon AHL headlights, but idk if the plugs differ
