Idrive controller upgrade?

Hello guys

I have one silly question

Is it possible to upgrade only Idrive controller on CCC nav?

I mean from this

Did anyone do this?

I have a 2008 pre lci e90 with ccc Nav. I retrofitted a full e90 2010 m3 interior which included the m3 centre console and cic controller which is plug and play with ccc nav.
