What else should I do while replacing front struts?

I'm going to be replacing my front struts soon as both are blown. I have an 06 330i w/ 150k miles. I know pretty much everything suspension wise needs replacing at this point but I don't wanna spend a ton at this point. While I'm doing the struts, what else should I replace that is relatively cheap.
I want to stay under $300 at his point, I already have all the mounts and other parts to do the struts. So what else can I replace? Like bushings and what not for under $300 total for the front end.

Hey good luck on that.

Inexpensive thing to do: Retorque everything....be sure wheels are at normal ride height.

Haha thanks and will do. I ended up picking up this 10 piece control arm kit from FCP. Hopefully it'll be here by the weekend.

given limited budget for this project, i'd suggest you consider replacing parts in the path of your work that would need to be replaced later AND that are likely worn with your mileage. Consider strut mounts and spring pads... Spring pads are very cheap, but the hold up pretty well. I replaced mine at 86 K when i did my struts, but probably could have gotten by without doing that. One of my strut mounts was shot while the other was OK. Replaced both and I won't touch them for about 75k --- if then.

Thanks. I've already purchased all the consumables for replacing the struts/springs for the front and rear (front upper strut mounts and the spring pads, all rear mounts and rubber pieces). I just bought 10 piece control arm kit for the front which I hopefully will do this weekend.

I've done the driver side front strut so far and wow was it bad. The strut pushes all the was in and doesn't even try to come back up. The bump stop wasn't there, I'm assuming it disintegrated. The upper control arm bushing where it montes to the strut was just gone.

I know at this mileage everything suspension wise needs to be replaced, which I will slowly do. I want to get the front end done so I can get an alignment and then I'll move to the rear.
