What else should I do while replacing front struts?
I'm going to be replacing my front struts soon as both are blown. I have an 06 330i w/ 150k miles. I know pretty much everything suspension wise needs replacing at this point but I don't wanna spend a ton at this point. While I'm doing the struts, what else should I replace that is relatively cheap.
I want to stay under $300 at his point, I already have all the mounts and other parts to do the struts. So what else can I replace? Like bushings and what not for under $300 total for the front end. |

Hey good luck on that. Inexpensive thing to do: Retorque everything....be sure wheels are at normal ride height. |

I've done the driver side front strut so far and wow was it bad. The strut pushes all the was in and doesn't even try to come back up. The bump stop wasn't there, I'm assuming it disintegrated. The upper control arm bushing where it montes to the strut was just gone. I know at this mileage everything suspension wise needs to be replaced, which I will slowly do. I want to get the front end done so I can get an alignment and then I'll move to the rear. |
