GTA Spas for Your Car
Got an e-mail from XYYZ.ca and thought you guys might find this information useful. Now that the weather is getting a bit better, Here are a few places you can go to hose down your baby and lather her up until she looks spanking new again...
Avenue Road Car Wash (1537 Avenue Road, North York, (416) 783-1012) This is a full service place for car washing and polishing, favoured by Havergal mothers having the Lexus vacuumed on their husband's AMEX Onyx. Located just north of Lawrence, it's $20 for a basic wash, and anywhere between $23 to $35 for a wash and wax, depending on the depth of your pocket. Bayview Car Wash (1802 Bayview Ave, (416) 483-1262) Arguably the best full service car wash in the city, this sweet spot charges between $18 to $22 for a touchless wash, wax, and vacuum. It's where you'd take your baby to be spoiled. One-A-Minute Car Wash (822 Church St, (416) 961-2555) Just north of Bloor near the Canadian Tire, this is another full-service wash with a hand-dry service at under $20. Bathurst Car Wash (1109 Bathurst St, (647) 435-8504) For the guy who has to do it himself, this state of the art self-service wash boasts extra sudsy soap and vacuum beasts with attitude. All for under $10. Beaches Coin-Op Car Wash (1700 Queen St. E, (416) 690-2739) Another self-wash place tucked away on Queen St. at Kingston Rd, this is a perfect winter wash place because it's an indoor wash, and each of the six bays has vacuums as well. |

First two are tracked and soft cloth. Not recommended.
Avenue Road car wash is blessed with Pusateri next door, all the soccer moms get their cars washed there, along with the popo, limo drivers...etc They do have hand wash as well, but not cheap. York Mills Car Wash is owned by the same ppl who owns Bayview IIRC (they use the same car wash coupon booklets I think)... they didn't release my handbrake on my other car and drove it through the track at with my rear wheels locked...

The new In-and-Out in Brampton (NE Corner of Airport Rd & Williams Pkwy, on Airport Rd, next door to PetroCan) offers coin-op, softcloth wash, and handwash. They also do interior detailing. I had my van cleaned inside and out there last week and they did a fine job for $125.
