2010 335xi Trans Cooler Options 6at (cant Find What I'm Looking For Via Search.)
first let me apologize for not finding what I wanted via search. I want to know what option works best for trans cooler. I daily drive this car, but it also pulls weekend track duty, mostly autocross, with the occasional trip to a road course. I had it out this last weekend, and after 3 sessions, I went into limp mode. No codes, so I suspect trans temp got me. All my other temps look good (oil at 270.) after I shut car off, and immediately fired it back up, limp mode was gone, but I didn't go back out again. I'd like to first keep a closer eye on my trans temps, and secondly know what is the best option for a trans cooler. Best I can tell, not many people autoX or take their 6at cars to a road course. Just curious if I have any options, or if this car just isn't cut out for that kind of fun. Last edited by jhanso18; 05-19-2016 at 10:07 AM.. |

OMG, really?
You need upgrade your driving skills first buy getting more track seat time. Also, transmission cooler should come after you upgraded your coolant radiator. Don't forget that BMW installed additional coolant radiator not transmission or oil cooler in their PPK. It's coolant that cools the engine. But if you still insist on getting transmission radiator reach out to DirtKurt http://www.e90post.com/forums/privat...&pmid=14555148 |
