I have had both and i prefer the cobb. the jb4 is awesome and quick fun power, autotune capabilities really make if a good platform for e85 mixing and whatnot. however the power i made with the same mixture of e85 on the cobb is drastically different. more torque better throttle response. overall a better tune.
i think for protune purposes the cobb is way better, but as far as quick fun easy power the jb4 wins strictly because of the autotune map5. so if you plan on just doing a few tasetfull mods. you can save money and still be safe and reliable with the jb4. if you have big plans like turbo swaps and what not id say the cobb for a safer tune that will pull more power safely i just removed jb4 and installed cobb on a buddys e90 n54 and its been two days. both yesterday and today he won't shut up about how much different and better feeling the cobb is over the jb4. he had the jb4 in for about 1 year. loves the cobb after 2 days Last edited by vicmd21; 05-24-2016 at 07:39 PM..
