I usually go for cruises on PCH almost everyday, and especially on weekends. Yesterday (saturday) was a great day to be on PCH. There were lots of nice cars, as usual, and owners who weren't afraid of opening up their cars.

I spotted a black, fixed up, and great conditioned SS 454 El Camino with two young and spirited drivers. It was on a set of huge drag radials in the back, and some super skiny tires in the front. All down the straight aways in Crystal Cove we both kept opening up our throttles. We came upon a red light which both of us were at the line. As soon as the light turned green that thing TOOK OFF, drag race style. I mean.......BOOM, and off. That thing pulled 3+ car lengths on me right off the light! As soon as I thought I might catch up, though still about 2 car lengths behind, he continued to pull ahead another 2-3 car lengths like it was nothing. We both stopped our non sense at about 100mph.

I was quite amused and began laughing at how insanely fast that thing was! It was all smiles as we drove past each other. I looked at them, while laughing, and put my hand to my mouth as I said "ohhhhhhhhhh that thing is SOO F**KING FAST" and they laughed and gave me a thumbs up as well.

Damn bro, i never underestimate muscle cars, especially like the one you described and watching them pull aways is CRAZY!! You even have procede, that must have been a nice run while it lasted...
