It's still considered an original exhaust for the n54 coupe.

Pricing is off because IIRC, the exhaust for the E92 is just the muffler only. I know BMW revised the part so perhaps you have the older/discontinued one? While not completely sure, I believe the revised one is still available and can be purchased at a lower price to what you're offering. Perhaps you should post your part number for reference.

Yes it's OEM. And the last thing on my mind was who they ship to. I'm just showing that the asking price is astronomical. You're asking $500 over the cost of a new exhaust.

that price is american not canaidan, if they were to ship it will even be more money. I lowered my price to something more reasonable, im not looking to give away the exhaust next to nothing.

$1200 for a used (rare) PE exhaust...lol

if the PE muffler for the n54 was indeed revised, and is cheaper than your asking price, you're better off keeping it.

revisions only mean updates to the betterment of the part.

gl with the sale anyhow

Sorry, what I posted above about a revision is partially correct.

There was no revision for the E92, regardless of N54/N55. Part number 18-10-2-208-799 and 18-10-2-410-679 are listed for the E92 335i life cycle (not sure why there are two part numbers for the exhaust muffler, I thought they were bilateral?).

There was a revision for E90 335i. Part number 18-10-2-208-201 was succeeded by 18-10-2-410-681.

As for the application, the E90 and E92 exhaust are interchangeable with the only difference being the length - E92 tips are a bit longer IIRC so you could use one on the other if you don't mind how much or how little the tips extend past the bumper.

But with that said, it shouldn't really matter if the exhaust was discontinued (not sure why you were told the E92 was discontinued?), the BMW Performance exhaust fits on any 335i E90/E92/E93.

Hopefully that clears it up, if there are any errors above, please feel free to correct me!

Good luck with the sale. I'm sure some neighbor to the north wants this beauty.

I was curious about this exhaust so I called the dealer here in Toronto.

So just to let you guys know, this exhaust (N54 E92) goes for...

$1900 + tax = $2,147

...add another $50-100 for installation and you're looking at around $2200

Latest part number is 18-10-2-208-799 (as TheBingoBalls mentioned above)

So considering all the given facts, who ever ended up buying this exhaust for $1000 got themselves a good deal. OP probably could have sold it for a bit more.

$1,000 is a great price. Even if you consider the options some posted above in the US, new would be at least $1,600, more if you get dinged by duties. So OP could have sold it for around #1,300 or $1,400.
