Bought Sylvania ZXE H7 bulbs for DRL white/blue looks and very dissapointed

https://www.amazon.ca/SYLVANIA-Silve.../dp/B005KDOAP8

Main reason I bought them was to get away from yellow stock H7 bulb look to a more whiter even blue hue look for DRL. DRLs are located in the high-beam assembly - I didn't really care about light output - I don't ever use high-beam (except to flash once in a while) I have a stock H7 in low-beam assembly for good light output. What I was looking for is something closer to 5500-6000K for white/blue look. Now it seems like I've spent $55 for nothing as they really don't improve over stock halogens. Not only money lost, but also an hour of me getting dirty trying to change my stock H7 in high-beam assembly. Damn it! The thing is that if you watch Sylvania photos and videos - they do look pure white - I guess Sylvania simply lied to us. I mean I paid 10 times more to avoid Chinese cheap bulbs exactly for reason that I thought they would lie, but it looks like even big brands like Sylvania can lie too. Very disappointing

Garage List
DRLs are running at lower voltage than required for the bulbs to light as they should. If you check the high beam, you will notice the difference.

So essentially no matter what I buy I'm stuck with yellow due to a lower voltage DRL?

Any LED that will not blind the oncoming drivers and not flicker due to low voltage DRL? Thanks.
The reason I ask this is that H7 can be dimmed (low voltage) when working as DRL, but not sure if LEDs can.

I've seen people do it with LEDs. You just have to make sure the listing says it can be used as DRL. Check eBay. You may forfeit the ability to flash but hey, atleast you have white DRLs. LED DRLs don't blind at all.

As a side note, Sylvania ZXEs are junk. Even at full voltage they're still nowhere near advertised. I've compared them side by side with Silverstars. Same color. Silverstars are $15 cheaper.

It's hard to get that pure white with a halogen. You need to go LED or HID, with DRL it can be tricky as it runs at half voltage. I wonder if coding is something that would help this situation.
