Wax on chrome lips

I just applied 1 coat of WheelWax on my brand new iforged essens. (never used)

There wasn't any contamination on the rims but after the wax application, I see little swirl marks on the chrome lips...

How can I remove them??

And what should I do to prevent this from happening in the future?

Where the wheels clean? What did you use to apply the product?

Taking scratched out of chrome is pretty hard, if not impossible. It could;ve been there and you just not noticed until you waxed them.

Just to be sure, these are indeed chrome and not polished lips? 2 piece non welded essens?

I have these exact wheels and the chrome is very hardy and easy to clean / wax etc.. I have noticed that its very hard to actually remove all the wax even after buffing on chrome. Make sure your not seeing a small amount of wax residue left over which would look like swirls.

If they are polished, your going to see swirls
