factory oil cooler
Does anyone have any idea how much a factory oil cooler will cost. I want to get the dinan upgrade but I dont have the oil cooler. Ive called my sales person....the manager...the service advisors and BMWNA. So far everyone says I dont need it. Im like hey I do traffic driving almost everyday. If Im hitting 250 degrees in 40 degree weather whats going to happen when its 90 degrees

How many limp modes does a car need before they decide to retrofit an oil cooler. I was even thinking about doing the Dinan oil cooler.

Check with your Service Advisor for the problem. My car runs excessively hot and it is supposed to have the OE cooler. The thing here is that they took my car in today for a secondary cooler install or a larger one. They told me the car is not supposed to behave as it's doing and that they will install a secondary unit but I haven't heard from this being done by BMW USA before. So I don't know exactly what they will do but they had me talk to BMW USA regarding this issue. For the record, the car runs above 240 deg at all times and it is an 08 e90 335 with the ZSP and style 162 wheels, as they asked.
The Dinan cooler you can install with some other add-in that is worth a little extra and it is a larger than factory unit. Good luck!
