335d AFE cold air intake opportunity
All
This past weekend I attended Bimmerfest 2016 in Fontana, CA. I was fortunate enough to meet the owner of AFE. To cut a long story short I assured him that there is a community of 335d owners out there who if a cold air intake was available for their cars would definitely be interested as no company currently makes one. He is open to making one for our vehicles should their appear to be enough interest. He informed me that he does not allow his employees on the forum websites, so I stated that I would reach out to see the interest level and get back to him. If you are interested PLEASE, respond, bump, give a thumbs up to this post so I can get back with him, and hopefully we can get the production of an intake underway. Thanks

Odd he doesn't allow employees on forum websites. Done right that is where many other vendors generate huge business. Case in point Andrew and Bob. Plus it enables vendors to get a direct sense of market demands and pricing elasticity.

my 2 cents on this, it was proven by Terry from JB4 that a CAI did not give the best results for our cars many yrs ago, I opted to using the cyba scoops(ok ok the red scoops, LOL) and for ME they work properly since it scoops COOLER AIR from up front of the radiator area, you can really notice the umph at over 65 mph, as far as dyno's I never did them cause it would not simulate the force induction of air at 65 mph. With all that said I believe a CAI might and might not work adequately UNLESS there is dyno graphs etc etc to prove us it works
