Verizon LG Voyager in E90 pre-Sept 2006

Hi folks -
Looking at upgrading from a Motorola E815 (that pairs and works flawlessly in my wife's E90, but sadly has other issues) to an LG Voyager (Verizon).
The "official" line from BMW (www.wireless4bmw.com) is that the Voyager will work fine in an E90 produced after Sept 2006. Though my wife's car is pre-Sept 2006, the software was updated last May to the then-current (26?) version.
My question: Will the Voyager pair, sync the phonebook, etc.?
Better yet, does anyone with a PRE-Sept 2006 E90 use this phone successfully?

Yes, it will. Book Sync and everything.

Most all LG's will connect.

I have a Venus and it work flawlessly.
