Isn't there a danger to the carbon hitting pot holes i'd imagine they'd crack. Has it been approved for long time use. Have they even done any long time use tests on these wheels by the looks of it they look very fragile.

No and yes. Dymag wheels are TUV, DOT and JWL approved. They are a hell of a lot stronger than most of the aftermarket wheels that many E9X owners are driving around on! The only downside to these wheels is the price

I saw some of these at the LA auto show and lifted one with one finger. Pretty damn light, around 10lbs id guesstimate.

if you search around their website, the Mosler car manufacturer claims the 18" weighs around 14 lbs while the 20" weighs around 17.5 lbs. so the 19" should be in that ballpark.....
fantastic wheels, with undoubtably top-notch technology. wish i could afford/justify the price. definitely a track-use wheel........ |
