Couldn't stay away, my new build - Wheels + Stage 2 + M3 Hood + injectors.
Hey blokes.
The story goes i used to own an alpine white M sport E92, owned it for about three years and absolutely loved it. Decided to sell it with university approaching fast and keep my 4x4 to only have one car. Few months passed without the E92 and i wasn't happy in the 4x4, it was an old girl but extensively modified and very very unique and worth absolute drug money for its age. Listed it for sale and an interstate buyer snapped it up within a week and i had no car. Decided i wanted an E46 M3, i wanted the raw feeling and that engine note mainly, loved the rough shifting SMG and was excited to get into one, long sotry short i spent around 1k in inspections and flights ect to have them all fail in big ways. It just wasn't working out so i decided to go back to what i love and what has always worked, the E92 335. I said if i was going to buy one again it would need to be better than the last one, so i stretched my budget and bought a 2009 Individual M sport in Sapphire black, N54 Powered, DCT, updated I drive, platnium white leather, piano black trim absolutely beautiful car and in stunning condition. Came with a few nice options, heated seats which are amazing, rear blind, comfort access and start ect. Anyway heres some pics. As i bought it. Day one i painted the grills black. Day two i put the powdercoated black M sport wheels off my last car on. And heres some random shots of the interior, its at night so looks a bit average. My plans for it include LCI tails, muffler delete, catless dps and MHD, wheel spacers for now Last edited by MJ80.; 03-27-2017 at 02:42 AM.. |

Turtle, i just couldn't get an n55 with my budget the ones that i could get were half the car this is anyway tbh, im so happy i went this way. Plus my last n54 was an absolute peach, im happy with n54.
Yeah the leather is like seriously as new condition, which is insane for white, i cant get over it. I need a cover for the drivers though to keep it nice, i get a bit dirty at work and dont wanna ruin it with the daily grind. Angel eyes are already in the mail, should be here tomorrow, so are a set of plugs because a cable and otg for MHD are also in the mail lol. I dont have the spacers yet so would love to hear some opinions on what people find fits well with the stock wheels, i want it flush. The wheels are gloss black. Eb, yeah i really like the dct, it feels like the alpina flash but it feels genuine haha the flash always felt like a cover up. I really need to get the straight pipe happening so i can hear it cracking between gears. Im hoping the tune will also wake it up a bit and make it a bit more raw, should feel better with more power. Feels super smooth right now, almost too efficient lol. Ink its good to be back, as soon as i was back in one i felt at home and there was no question if i had made the right choice, these cars are just unbeatable! Yeah the n54 w dct is pretty much the unicorn to alot of people so happy man! Thanks for all the kind words everyone will keep this updated as i go. |

It seems like gloss black in 225 is not bad.
May save me money from buying a new set of gloss black rims. Spacers, I am looking at 10mm front & 15mm rear, not sure if it will rub but I want the rims flush too. Really like the interior colour, I saw one of this individual colour combo in person previously, look really nice but just too easy to get dirty. Is the lining in white? |

Looks like my car when I first bought it (fbo e85 now) years ago- do you find the DCT has a delay off the line in first gear? That's my only issue with it, in gear changes are crisp, but off the line the hesitation without LC makes me want a ZF6 sp (which was very responsive in first - that car I tested was stock no Alpina). P.S Launch Control on the DCT leaves alot to be desired |

But no hesitation in normal driving, first is fine, only when you wanna floor it just takes off poorly. |
