Advan Dyno Day: Saturday 25th : Petes last run

Hi Guys,

For those who don't know, Peter Hopkins, the current founder and owner of Advan Performance is retiring and has sold his business to Craig and his son Adam (who are top blokes that own and run a helicopter business, and race cars in their spare time - so it's in very capable hands).

This Saturday is Pete's farewell and last hurrah, so what better way to send him off by hosting a dyno day for everyone to come down to have a chat, dyno run, BBQ and to say thanks & goodbye to Pete! (All whilst smelling the wonderful scent of e85)

Looking forward to seeing everyone who can make it on Saturday!

I've dealt with Peter in the past many times. He truly is a top bloke. it's rather hard to find mechanics like that these days.

Oooh short notice. I might be able to bring the GTR up if i can shuffle a few things around. Id bring the BMW, but it just not that interesting for a dyno day lol.

AFAIK they haven't advertised it as a DYNO DAY, so it may be the full charge?

Would have liked to cheer him off also but a bit short notice. Might be able to make it later... what time will it go til?

Is it a 4WD dyno?.. I can't remember. As you say bmw is not so interesting to dyno unmodded

Pete use to tune GTR's so I'm guessing it is a 4wd dyno

Would have been good to bring it up and put it back on a dyno and see what the figures are now compared to when it was first tuned.
