Hit very hard bumps on highway, need help

Driving on the highway last week I hit two really hard bumps and hit the bump stops, ever since then I've had a slight rub like sound from the front right-ish area under braking, it only happens sometimes and is getting more consistent overtime.

I already took the wheels off and checked to see if anything was damaged or loose, but didn't notice anything. Anyone have any idea what it could be?

Thanks

It only happens randomly during braking for a second, its kind of like a rub sound but not really, super hard to describe it, hitting bumps everything sounds normal

The suspension feels tight and fine, it's just under braking Wich is really weird, might take caliper apart and see

Perhaps you could check the larger control arm bushing at the chassis side. I understand those flex most notably under braking when they're really worn. It may also make sense to check everything on that side for play, etc..

For what it's worth, I hit a pot hole bad enough to bend a rim and thought my suspension was OK. After replacing struts the next spring, however, I could not get the car aligned to spec. Changing the front lower control arm (and bushing) on that side got the car back into spec and it feels really good. I also noticed that my front upper strut mount was in terrible shape and replaced both sides when doing my struts. That side was making noise, but only over bumps -- not upon braking.

Good luck!

Control arm. It's one of the more common parts to be damaged by an impact like that, so I'd say its worth looking at first.
