10mm or below spacers

"Hubcentric Fitments All BMWs use hubcentric wheels. When mounted to the car, the wheel rests on a lip instead of the wheel bolts or studs. The lip contributes to the strength of the wheel and the wheel cannot safely be used without a lip. The wheel bolts are not strong enough to support the weight and loads generated through the wheel. The lip is usually 9-10.5mm in depth and the new spacer must have its own lip. Turner and H&R Spacers with their own integrated hubcentric lip are: 10mm, 12mm, 12.5mm, 15mm, 18mm, 20mm, 25mm, and 30mm."

"10mm Fitment Notes You must be very careful when fitting 10mm spacers to any BMW. Since the depth of the hubcentric lip will vary, you risk bottoming out of the spacer before it sits flush with the hub. This will leave a gap between the spacer and the hub, seriously compromising the strength of the spacer. The lip on the car must be shaved down so the 10mm spacer will fit flush on the rotor hat. "

May I ask for those who has 10mm or less spacers, does the spacer sit flush on the brake hub?
If so, what brand have your got?
Thanks

Why even ask questions like this, just do research man.
Mine and sockets build thread aren't just for showing off you know, we use bms because they designed to work with our cars so you don't have to worry about how fitment is or how much gap or lip or whatever there is

Anyway I have 10mm on the front and they fine.
My wheels haven't fallen off yet

I have 10mm on the rear, they are BMS hub centric.

Yes it fits flush, any smaller and it won't.

With this mentality might as well not ask questions here at all.

I was thinking 12mm front and 15 mm rear spacers to get as close to flush as i can, stock height m sport suspension with the stock 19" 225m wheels anyone offer any insight into this combination?

12 and 15 will work fine on stock m sport suspension. If you plan to lower it later on then do 10 front and 12 rear with rolled/pumped rear fenders

ECS or BMR are fine mate. Need to fit the correct length wheel nuts or studs to match the spacer. These are usually supplied with the spacers if you buy these new. If you buy second hand spacers make sure you get the right sized bolts

Thanks everyone, I know the importance to have hub centric & extended bolts.

I am just not sure if any brand offers sufficient lips even if the spacer is 10mm or less.
Sometimes the statement online is confusing and I think it's better to check with any actual applications.

Will get Burger Motor Sport or ECS and avoid buying any other brands.

Just an FYI, I had severe scrubbing with 18mm rears and 15mm rears, ended up with 10mm on the rear.

Front I had 12mm and it scrubbed when turning in reverse, I've taken the front off completely.

I have stock m sport suspension and stock 19 inch wheels type 313m

Also note my rear fenders have been rolled to the max.

Have had BMS and ECS, they are the same really, both high quality perfect figment, the Burger nuts were longer which I think is a good thing, ECS sent the same size bolts no matter the spacer size where as BMS nuts where different.

I have run 5mm spacer on my fronts before. Had to get then cause the wheel slightly scrubbed on my shocks.
5mm spacers do no come hubcentric because aparently theyre too thin. (Tempe tyres told me this). However 5mm spacer is so thin that youre wheel hib will still have excess hub sticking out to keep the wheel centred. My car drove fine for months but i wanted more so opted for 12mm hubcentric.
Tbh dot bother going anytbing under 10mm yu wont even notice it. Waste of coin

Thanks!
I thought generally 10mm front and 12-15mm rear should be ok for stock m sport suspension unless you have gone with smaller offset wheel?

I have measured the clearance last night, seems like there are 20mm clearance between the fender and the sidewall.

Anyway, will get the coilover done later before determining the size of the spacer since my car is sitting lower on the right than the left at the moment.
Need to fix the ride height first.

When you measure, remember that the wheel goes up inside the fender and will hit the black trim on the inside, thats where mine rubbed, not on the fender itself.

Fuck i didnt think 15mm rear was too aggressive for stock wheels and suspension. Thats crazy windering if i should even bother, but need to sort the weak stance.

I think I will get 10mm for rear given that I may change the rim from stock 9" to 9.5" rim which brings the wheel out by roughly 60mm if I am correct.
