swap non sport for sport springs for more ground clearance
I didn't get much action in the classifieds, which was somewhat expected. I want to squeeze some more ground clearance out of my needs-a-suspension-refresh 06' 325 w/ sport suspension. One way I'd like to do that is swap out the sport suspension springs for non sport springs. I think I'll get about a half inch. Then with other things I can probably get a full inch higher.
Anyway at 140k miles, I need to do a suspension refresh. So I figured someone might want sport suspension springs and shocks (to hold you over temporarily), and I'll take your non sport springs and buy new shocks (unless yours are newer..?). Preferably this would be someone who is also in need of new shocks already anyway. Anyone interested? I'm pretty sure its just a clean swap right? |

You might want to just see how much higher your car gets after doing the suspension refresh. With 140k miles, I think you'll find that your strut mounts are pretty saggy. My '06 325i gained almost a full inch all around when I put new strut mounts and Bilstein HDs on at ~145k.

+1 - just go with Bilstein HD (B6) you'll get a little height and alot better ride, keep your sport springs.
