anyone else hearing this?

my ca just called and told me that my car is going to take 8 weeks because the charleston port is closed for renovation...therefore the western highway went to new jersey to unload so it is taking longer because it has to go to the south Carolina vpc. WTF? Sounds like bullshit to me. Anyone else hearing this?port of charleston says the western highway docked on 3/10.

The Western Highway is still in Germany leaving 3/23 and no problems with any ports you have a strange SA all lines and still running in and out. Do a google search if you feel that the port is down

Sounds like BS to me. My car arrived at Port of Charleston yesterday on the Caribbean Highway and according to my SA was put on a train to VPC this morning.

You should check the Port of Charleston vessel inquiry at http://www.scspa.com/vessel_schedule.asp. According to that the Western Highway should be arriving on 3 April.

The "Help Desk" number at the Port of Charleston is:
843.577.8124

Good luck.
