trouble with locking pins

hey guys. this is my first time ever doing my brakes. I am replacing front rotors and pads. I followed a video online of how to do everything, but I am having trouble with the locking pins to release the caliper. it just keeps turning and turning and never goes past the rubber dust sleeve so that I can pull it the rest of the way out. this is happening both on the top and bottom.

got it. had to get in there with needle nose pliers to pull them out.

Toslink out of Airport Express to Helix P-Six DSP. PHD AF 1.C tweeters, PHD FB 4.1 midranges. Jehnert Door Cards and mid-bass'.
