Question Stage 3 lpfp/PI Question???

So I have a quick question regarding a stage 3 lpfp and PI. So I'm currently waiting on the MMP stage 3 turbo to be released and until then I still have time to get everything in order for the install. My power goal is to have at least a ~600 whp DD or damn near close. The question that I want to know is that is it required to have a stage 3 lpfp using PI or is it more recommended? I currently have a stage 2 lpfp and I wanted to know would that be suffice for what I want? Granted having both would be ideal but at the same time would a stage 2 be able to support the low end side? I already asked about a stage 2 lpfp and the TBI kit and that idea was shot down. Thanks

I needed both for my VTT 2+. Vargas is working on something now though. Until and if it comes, you really need both for over 600rwhp. I should be able to get to close to 700 rwhp with my setup shortly

Ehh...I'm not to VTT friendly as of now. I've had a few set backs within the last few years, but that's in the past. I actually found some information regarding the BMS Fuel-it PI kit and according to the description I should be good. "For up to 600whp the Fuel-It Stage1 low pressure kit is required. For higher power levels the Fuel-It Stage3 low pressure kit is required. The Fuel-It Stage2 falls somewhere in between in terms of power support." Being that I have a stage 2 I should be in the clear...possibly.

Ask Steve from fuel-it. He's really straight up and responsive. The oem does 0.8 gallons/min. Stage 2 does 1.2 gallons. Stage 3 does 2.4. It's a double pumper.

So turbos are going for sale this week, probably Friday since I will provide a WPC bearing treatment option I'm going to offer the turbos for sale just before they go to VSR balance I can swap in the upgraded WPC bearings for those that opt for that upgrade. Keep in mind all my turbos come with upgraded thrust bearings as a standard. Turbos are basically done at this point

For fueling, if going straight e85, stage 2 lpfp only gets you to about 500whp, stage 3 alone gets you maybe 50whp more, stage 3 with PI gets you to 600 whp and higher.

Also I have drawings and am in early stages in developing a PI kit to hopefully bring to market in 6 months or less, looking to be the lowest cost PI by far, I think current offerings are too overpriced for what they are, they were the right price when new to recoup development cost I guess but now with their maturity in the market someone has to drive the price down

I may or may not look into stage 3 LPFP depending on where some new options come in price wise. The dominant player in the LPFP space I think is a bit overpriced, kind of same comment as above, although he does put out a great product.

Would be sweet if I could eventually develop all this stuff and have a one stop shop with a complete boost and fuel stage kit that comes with turbos, inlets, outlets, and fueling needs

So with everything I have ~600whp isn't attainable with a stage 2 pump and PI? I just read off another forum regarding the BMS Fuel It PI and it says "For up to 600whp the Fuel-It Stage1 low pressure kit is required. For higher power levels the Fuel-It Stage3 low pressure kit is required. The Fuel-It Stage2 falls somewhere in between in terms of power support." I'm confused now. I would surly think that I would be able to get close to ~ 600whp with all the supporting mods.

The estimates are based on 100% E85.. If running lower ethanol mixes around 65%, then I'm sure you can reach your WHP goals with PI and a stage 2 LPFP.. It can be done, but it will take a better tuner to make it work..

Ok cool! I was planning on getting a MHD tune by Wedge and drop the JB4 and meth kit. He seems to have received a lot of positive reviews over the years so hopefully he can make it happen.
