Exhaust Question

Hello!

I was wondering if anyone done the following:

-made a custom exhaust, if so got a video clip? and what did you use?

-did a custom exhaust, did a dual exit, but only attached a muffler to one of the exits, not both.

-I cant seem to find a muffler that will make the car crackle. I was originally just going to do a muffler delete but I figured maybe i should actually make it sound a little different.

-I was thinking about installing a electric cut out before the muffler on the OEM exhaust so it sounds straight pipe and it could still sound stock if I want it to. I just dont want drone, I had a 4 cyl before that was pretty much straight piped with the exception of a "race pipe" which looked to me like a resonator or really small muffler that was right under the center console on the exhaust.

I got a 2006 525xi, with the N52 motor, so my exhaust options are very limited, plus most are 800-1000+ and they are only axle back exhausts.

Also bonus: I heard that its better to get the PBX vs Sprint Booster, I was wondering how much difference does it make? I feel like my car is heavy, the car winds up too slow in my opinion. My 1999 528i felt faster. lol. Just not 100% if maybe AWD is the culprit and there is nothing I can do about it. Regardless, I would like to alter that if possible. I also feel like when at 6500 RPM the car screams but dosent move anywhere but I cant fix that unless I get a supercharger I guess. But I also dont know if that is worth it. Im set on keeping the car for the next 3+ years (until i can afford a proper M car). Maybe then ill keep the 5 series too as project car. I really do like the car a lot. I already owned it for almost 3 years, only managed to lower it on springs (which was a horrible idea), got new wheels for it which the tires started to run on bumps once I lowered it (i guess i could roll my rear fenders, dont want to screw up the paint tho). Im planning on coilovers and probably wheels with proper offset that will fit the Xi no problem when lowered.

PBX is a waste of time. it's not going to make your car any faster.

3 stage manifold + tune = 50hp+ n
On a 525/325i. It's your best bet.
