will DP fix also help cat fault on n54?

I have to get emissions here in a little bit & my car is currently throwing cat deficiency (p0420/30) on stock downpipes.

Will installing the DP fix on the car help me pass emissions?

my state requires obdII testing on my car.

I really do not want to spend a few grand on a new stock exhaust system because I'm planning to modify my exhaust anyways.

thanks for your help!

Is there a hole in your exhaust before the cat? If no it sounds like a bad oxygen sensor to me.

I'm not sure I understand what you're asking, are you saying you have an N55 and want to know if the N54 DP fix will solve your issue? If that's the case the answer is no that will not work. If your 02 sensor is in working order there are two options -> CatSim or 02 Sensor spacer. I'm running 42DD spacer with VRSF DP and it's worked like a charm for the past 5,000 miles.

No I have an n54. I don't know if there is a hole in my car or anything. I had a shop run some test when I first got the code but they said they found nothing wrong with my O2 sensor, other than that, that was like a 9 months ago and the car is still running fine. I'm just asking since I have those codes on my car, will the DP fix help me pass emissions? I know the fix is use to help people with Catless dp pass emissions, so I'm just wondering if the concept still apply.

Try posting in the N54 section; they might be more knowledgeable on the subject.

Yeah man, sorry you posted this in the N55 section that's what had me a little confused. You are correct it should work, but also as i said above the 02 sensor spacer should also work.
