Highest bhp/lb torque off original turbos and intercooler? 335d

Hello everyone, just thought I'd ask who has the most power out there with there 335d's before hybrids, meth, big intercoolers etc, my car is already remapped 348 bhp 502lb at peak.

This was done by a large uk tunning company by the previous owner. I have been in contact with another who reckons he can get 380-95 bhp and 545-65lb on stock turbos etc, he's been in the game for 20 odd years and specialises in mapping and building stupid horse power gtr's skylines etc.

Just wanted to know with all the 335d owners if any one is at that power or higher?

thanks

Alex

The stage 2.5 tune from JR is for stock turbos and makes 344 HP 543 FTLB at the wheels which I would estimate is around 380-390 bhp and well over 600 lb ft. BHP being brake horsepower, not british horsepower.

Wow! so what he told me was true then that's amazing gains from stock. Mines not exactly slow. Did 13.2 1/4 mile last week first ever time down the strip mines the e91 so hopefully after this remap this week I could get into the high 12's when I go again not bad for a heavy estate car

thanks for that mate. Al update this on Wednesday when it's been done.

do you have a DPF delete pipe? If not, you might not be able to reach the numbers I posted.

The current set up is egr mapped out, dpf hollowed and gutted out, ITG panel filter, custom exhaust no boxes or silencer. Forge motor sport boost hose.

When I spoke to the fella he was telling me that he can get more power out of these 335d's with less boost? He said fuelling is more important, I will try and post the proper figures Wednesday when it's done.

But if I get any were near 400 bhp and 550-565 lb genuine I will be chuffed

Well today was interesting, visited AC speed tech in Warrington uk today for them to look at my map/file on the 335d,

I was shocked with what I was told, to much boost and the fueling cranked right up to its limit. This would explain the plumes of black smoke I would get nailing it.

The previous owner had the car remapped by a massive well known tuning company in east London/Essex the receipt was near 2 grand they really took him to the cleaners.

After Andy put on the new file/map and going back out in the car the difference is massive.

Car feels linear and smoother Even dropping 2 gears and nailing it no smoke at all.

My car has no dpf and a full custom exhaust system, If I done that with the old map it would smoke it's Cock off.

Very happy with new map on the car anyone who is in the uk and want to remap there Bmw then give AC Speedtech a look when shopping around.

Nah, hybrids make more power.

This is just a tune comparison for original turbos.
