question on rear m3 install

I'm going to install the rear m3 wishbone and guide rods, do you think I need a alignment after? I know it would not hurt to do it. I don't think it moves the rear like the m3 front does.
When I change the m3 front it was unsafe until after the alignment was done. Thanks.

The rear guide rods are non adjustable and the same size on the m3 vs non m, just the bushings are different. You wont need an alignment unless your old ones are bent. It wouldn't hurt to have it checked, many places will check it for free.

Guide rod has nothing to do with alignment so you are good there. The wishbone should be okay as well, but like the previous poster said, have it checked just in case.

BUT....anytime you do suspension replacement an alignment check is mandated. Remember you're replacing squishy rubber with new Delrin.

What's the advantages of having rear m3 arms installed? Any noticeable difference?

I should get it done this weekend. It should take some of the slop out of the rear suspension.

If you got the car aligned with worn bushings, the new arms will change the alignment spec.

At the very least, I would have it checked.

I just got done taking it for a test drive. It feels different in a good way but I cant explain it. A little more stable over turns with bumps in them.
I could not find a dyi on it, but it was not too bad. I was just about done, when I thought. I should loosen everything put it to ride height then tighten everything back-up.
