Putting my KW suspension on today, found that my front passenger side strut mount didn't have a dust protection washer installed from the factory (part# 31331110196) anybody know of a replacement that'd be at Advance auto, pep boys, auto zone, lowes etc.. I don't want to wait a week to finish the car over this stupid part, but I don't want to leave it without anything there. Any suggestions ?

Call your local BMW dealers parts departments to see if any has on stock.

Highly unlikely that they left it out. Either still on car stuck on the strut tower or was previously disposed off by some mechanic. Local parts store would not carry that part. Dealer or Internet.

What work done on this car would of ever required the strut to be disassembled? I have only had recall work done for the Vanos bolts. All other work has been done by me. And it definitely wasn't there. the driver side was there and the strut mounts greased bearings were hardly dirty while the passenger side was missing, the greased bearings were caked in dirt and couldn't hardly move.

My dealership unfortunately is garbage. They never have parts, don't return emails or calls, and try to push repairs that aren't needed. I went ahead and ordered it off amazon with expedited shipping. Nobody at the dealership today of course.

Perhaps you had the car at the dealer for alingment? They check the ride height. If it was off is possible that they have mess with the strut mounts. Often brand new cars have some work done even before they are sold. I'm not saying this is your car but all is possible. I think I have those washers. Let me know if you still need it. I will look.

Yea I guess that's what probably happened then. Thanks for the offer, but I ordered a the washer on Amazon because I figured my dealership won't have it and will want $25. Hopefully my order will ship tmrw and be here before the weekend. Car has been on jackstands too long. I just got the pure stage 2 turbocharger on and really needed this suspension to help with the floating feeling under acceleration and braking. Getting antsy! Lol

If is floaty under hard acceleration look into:
-alignment
-rear to a arms
-differential lockdown plate or kit

I'm sure the "floaty" feeling was due to the stock crappy dampers. The KWs should help a ton.
