How do you suppose the 12" would fit there when the 10 barely makes it?

Some of the other IB threads have people using 12" or 15" in their E90 sedans. The edges of the woofer are "out of sight" behind the seats (since the opening isn't wide enough), but there's enough clearance to let the woofer move freely, and doesn't seem to affect the results much.

Cosmetically though, looks a lot better when you can see most/all of the woofer.

Good luck and keep us posted with progress updates!

E90 vs E93 is a very different thing when mounting a sub IB.

Sounds amazing with everything except hip hop, but hip hop is difficult for any sub IB. It gets plenty loud on 400 watts and is very accurate.

I'm really interested in going IB. I currently have the jehnert flatline kit with an 82dsp. The underseats sound great, but don't provide enough low end for my taste. Actually the mbquart underseats would have been enough bass for me, but after hearing the jehnerts, I just couldn't put those Mbquarts back under the seats. So now I'm wanting to add a sub, but have no experience with IB setups. Every system I have ever had has been sealed enclosure. Do you think a IB setup would suffice? How many watts would I need? And what is a good sub to get? IDQ 10?
Any advice would be appreciated
