I was upgrading the OP amps in my PS8 and thought I'd share some pictures of the inside.

Upgraded them to the LM4562NA. Made a noticeable difference in sq. Definitely worth the $15. Overall system got louder and more musical. I noticed the biggest difference in the highs. Louder and softer and seem to come through a lot more.

Overall I'm extremely happy with it. I honestly didn't know what to expect. I had them for almost a year and finally decided to install them out of boredom, change in sq was a pleasant surprise.

I'm honestly surprised it didn't just come with these to begin with. The PS8 already sounds really good, the upgrade just takes it to the next level.

I need to get a good tuning session. I still haven't tuned them since I installed the midbass drivers in my doors.

You're just boosting the pre-amp signal? Looks like plug n play, no soldering. Cool!

Different op-amps have different sound characteristics. It's not just about gain.

Just dropped right in. Took about 2 minutes after I had it opened up.

Really impressed with the sound, my beryllium tweeters sound so good now.
