My second track day at AMP, 14th track day this year, working the traffic in Intermediate run group, in my 2011 335i. Running faster lap times than race cars on slicks.

Well done man! Breaking into the 1:39's is impressive.

I ran AMP the week before you did (with SCCA) and absolutely love the track. My best was a 142.44.

What tires are you running? What PSI (hot)??

My best time Saturday was a 1:38.46 in the first session, I have data files, but the camera was not turned on in TrackAddict (was new phone). Running Hankook R-S3's, 36/38 psi hot.

You from the area? I will be @ Road Atlanta 7/30, back to AMP 8/27, Barber 9/24-9/25

Maybe it was the heat but I saw huge increase in hot pressures (more than expected) and ended up running 34psi hot (f) and 35 psi hot (r). Temps were in the 90's. I released some pressure before my first session and came into find 40 psi all around!

Yeah I actually live about 15 mins northeast of AMP. Ill try to make it out to RA soon but will likely end up back at amp in august.

Speaking of Road Atlanta you going to the Petit?
