**Official** World Travelers Pic Thread
Traveling is one of the greatest experiences one can enjoy throughout their lifetime. Learning new cultures and gaining new perspectives across the world are truly priceless.
Share some pics with us of your most ultimate travel experiences around the world! I'll start off with a safari in Kenya and Tanzania, exploring the far East in Beijing, Shanghai and Hong Kong, sky diving in the Swiss Alps and hiking Machu Picchu and Wayna Picchu in Peru.

I'm not a super awesome world traveler but here are some pictures from my trip to Japan early this year. I really want to go back.
This is a 1:1 scale model of a Gundam. It's located on the a large man-made island called Odaiba. IMG_0651 by Bruce Han, on Flickr I'm a huge anime nerd so we had to visit Akihabara or Akia for short. This is the mecca for anime. On Sundays, the streets are closed to ease congestion on the sidewalks. This is considered relatively empty compared to rush hour when people are packed shoulder to shoulder. Iceland, Japan
Some places I visited more than once within a year or two. Vietnam, for example, I visited 3-4 times within 15 months for both business and pleasure. |

To be honest, people are carrying on with their daily lives. What you see in the media is skewed and danger depends on very specific areas in those countries of conflict.
