2 mufflers on e90 I
I was wondering if it is possible to have 2 mufflers on the e90 to make it into quad pipes?

You can set it up so all 4 work.
Do search for 328 quad or dual exhaust. Dual exhaust is same set up just different tips. You could do cheaper version of the above picture. Get magnaflow universal muffler and lead a pipe to the other side. If you really want to go overboard, then you can swap the trunk box for one from 335. |

Same as with any other set up. There are plenty of threads on this subject. Search for dual exhaust 328. Or something like that. You will get bunch of results.
For instance this guy utilized stock muffler. http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=902372 Or this: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1060880 Do the search |

I'm trying to find my underbody pictures but here's my quad
http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1027407 I'm done with mufflers, some too big and heavy and I just went with a vibrant resonator in its place. Now i'm going to add 2 vibrant resonators, side by side, no space in between. Why? I guess make it stock sound but it will be v-clamped on both ends and I will have another straight pipe (same length) with it's own set of v-clamps. So I can straight pipe or not at my convenience. |

Here's some pics with the resonater. The 2nd res will be added side by side so the shop will have to cut whole new piping before the y-pipe anyway. I believe the resonator is like $50-60? Labor $60 to do the whole piping and routing. $100 for the 4 tips from e46 forums

I added titanium wrapping from dei because before I experienced my trunk being to hot but also because before I did this, I had no muffler and because the end of my exhaust cut was pointed up toward the trunk heat shield.
