Painting vs Vinyl Wrapping
I'm planning on getting a new bumper, side fender, and side skirts due to damage on them and was curious what do you all think would be the most cost effective solution:
1) Getting these parts painted by a body shop 2) Ordering Vinyl and wrapping these parts myself 3) Sending these parts to a vinyl shop to get them wrapped professionally The car is a 2011 328i xDrive in Jet Black. Thanks! |

Cheapest will be DIY vinyl of course, but the bumper is really hard to wrap well f you have no experience.
Vinyl wrapping would also require wrapping the whole car or it won't match. Unless you don't care about it being mismatched. So vinyl wrapping whole car vs painting just the new parts, painting might be comparable or even cheaper than a professional whole car wrap.
