Installing H7 Headlight bulbs
So the other day I installed some DRL PW24W Xenon bulbs, people were adamant it would give me errors which I would have to code to remove them.
Now I want to put these bulbs in my headlights: http://goo.gl/7evP4n The seller tells me they are error free same as the DRL PW24W that I have installed. Are headlight bulbs more likely to cause an error? Thanks in advance, Liam |

I think you'd be making a mistake fitting those, they will look terrible.
These are standard H7 halogen bulbs with the glass stained iridium colour. They will give your headlights a rainbow effect colour. He's correct they will not show up any errors, this is because they are the same old halogen technology, they are not filled with xenon gas as stated. They are not xenon bulbs. Xenon bulbs require a power box (ballast) to function. In effect his listing is full of lies. |

Then you will need to code off the cold/warm checks.

I fitted HID xenon lights to my car 2 nights ago.
H7R bulbs, so that I don't blind anyone in the halogen reflectors. The difference is unbelievable, it's like night and day. The halogens are so dangerous. |

I got the ballasts locally mate, they are 'canbus pro' ones, any canbus ones on eBay will work, or maybe even try your local motor factors. The bulbs came from eBay , H7R 6000k, again any will do
