Don't do it! or at least don't sell your black ones until you really decide you like the ones with the stripes.

I had them on mine and I liked them at first, but then the more I looked at it, the tackier it looked. It slowly looked upglier and uglier and now when I see them on other cars, it just looks so ricer. May as well put M colour stripes down the side of your car.

Think of the nicest five or so E9Xs you've seen on the forums. Do any of them have this? If not, now imagine them with the striped grille. Let's take Socket's car. Imagine his awesome front end with the eyelids and DTM angel eyes. Nice and aggressive face. Now add some kiddies face paint lol

CashedUpBogan DR-JEKL

Lol that just put this idea out of the window

Don't get me wrong I actually think they look ricer as well but tbh I also think eyelids are ricer too if the rest of the car isn't done right

Like this is pretty much what mine would look like if I got the metallic ones I mentioned

But yeah if you all think it still looks ricer then I'll just keep the grills I have now and forget these

Also just for the record socket mentioned to Vince and I that he wanted to do the stripes as well so I'm not the only one lol

It's individual taste what looks great for one looks vulgar to another.

I love the gloss black grille look on your car, but can kinda understand why you would be keen for a change to break up the black and add some colour.

When they 1st came out I thought they looked great on black, but over time they've become a tad passe imo

go for it buddy. Just hang on to the black ones for a while in case you don't like them. Both sets of grills will sell eventually if you decide on which of them to keep

Yeah if I buy the new ones I'll keep the all black grills for 2-3 weeks then I'll make up my mind about which I'll keep and sell
