Which dampers? 330i SE 2005
Hi guys
I have some Apex lowering springs (35mm all round) that fit OE spec shocks. However I want to either refresh my OE shocks as they are on 130k now, or better still fit some shocks that will compliment the springs better, without spending more that £300 on dampers From searching around I see that Bilstein do OE spec B4 and "Sport" spec which are shorter than the OE spec. Which ones should I get to match my springs? And if sport will I need new bump stops? Thanks in advance |

Springs will work with OE spec B4 dampers. You'd use the existing bump stops.

Handling will be improved with stiffer springs and they usually retain comfort when driving normally if the springs are progressive which most tend to be.
I have the Bilstein b12 kit and the comfort is excellent but the car also handles a lot better than the previous SE suspension. The understeer has disappeared ![]() |
