SOLVED: E90 LCI Rear Conversion issue
So I went ahead and did the full LCI conversion. However, I used Carly to clear errors but seems like LED is not an option on Carly. At least I didn't see it under FRM. I have the Gen II. Am I just missing it?
So as a result, here are my issues: 1. Turn signals blinks super fast ( I know this one needs def needs coding) 2. Inner LED bars only works when in REVERSE 3. Reverse bulbs stays on. I switched the yellow and green wires on both sides. Looks like I still needed to have it coded by a more advanced tool than Carly? Thank y'all in advance!

What do you mean you have Gen II? Did you retrofit FRM2 and have it properly coded? Because 2006 has FRM1 not FRM2.
You need to code out the cold and warm bulb checks as well as the errors for all the bulbs that are LED. If you just code out the error message it will still check for a burnt bulb and give you the fast blink. Not sure about the wiring, but it seems the reverse and LED bar wires are switched. But if you have an FRMII that is not properly coded, then it's going to do weird things.

it's weird on my 07, my wires are still the original way and were all plug and play to the oem euro lci tails and everything works normally, my car did have coding done while it was prelci tails because I upgraded the bulbs to LED to remove warm up

I don't know about the wiring. If you switched the wires and they are now working the opposite as expected, just try switching the wires back and see if that works?

The problem are that you need to rewire the inner lights also yes FRM1 is shit just get an FR3 if you want everything working with error checks. Otherwise you can get it running on FRM1 by disabling all bulb checks.

Yeah everything is fine now and I was able to disable all bulb checks. The issue now remains about switching wires for reverse and the led bars. I am researching online too but thanks though.

I figured it out. Not only I switched the Green and Yellow, but the brown and purple too. Works fine now. However, I lost brake lights? They don't lit up when I apply the brakes. According to this thread, looks like I need to tap a wire to get brake lights?
