A bunch of control messages!!

I was driving back home today and 10 minutes into my 3hr drive my car beeps and all these warnings go off. When I finally got home, I turned the engine off, and 10 min later I had to go somewhere. Started the car, the messages were still there but about 2 miles later they were gone. I'm going to call my local BMW to get this checked out. I was just wondering if anyone has seen this.

I have a 2006 330i.

So they aren't going to fix it and you just have to drive around with those warnings popping up randomly? If so, that's ridiculous! What if there is a real problem in the future. And the cruise control (DCC) doesn't work when these messages come up. 3hrs and no CC, sucks!!

I got a new error this morning...something about ELV lock malfunction...turn steering wheel. My car wouldn't start. I finally got it going after about 2 minutes of trying. I have an appointment with BMW on Friday.

the elv issue is either a steering column problem or a software problem..the first post was basically a dsc error...think of it as like sometimes you have to restart your computer because something didnt load properly...its kinda like that...

Took in to the dealer last Friday and got it back the same day. For the DSC indicator it says (on the invoice) cause: Out of Calibration - Calibrating Steering angle sensor. Apparently the steering angle sensor was out of calibration.

And they told me the reason why the ELV malfunction occurred was because the battery was low. And that a low battery can cause all kinds of warnings to go off. They recharged the battery.

Between the time I originally got the messages to the time I took my car to BMW, all the messages went away and didn't come back. So I don't know if my problem is completely fixed or not. So if you don't see me posting here about them, I guess they fixed it. =D
