E91 - Xenon headlights moving up and down
I know that the motors are tested on ignition on, but has anyone seen a situation where they are constantly moving after turning the lights on? just small increments of up and down, not the sweep up and down test.
i was thinking duff level sensors, but have swapped both out. |

Yeah that's your auto headlight aim adjusting the headlight beam, when usually go up a hill they will dip down, level back out when the car does,
Or if you have a boot full of stuff, or someone gets in your car or gets out etc and so on |

no, they were constantly moving up and down. not moving up when i got to a hill and down when it levelled out. constantly moving when the car wasn't.
was down to not having fitted the right headlight switch after the xenon upgrade. the switch was saying to the car to move the headlights and the level sensors were saying move back. vicious circle. |

Did you have the headlight switch with the manual level adjuster?
