FireBlade Concept, A ZR1 In Meaner Clothing

The new Corvette ZR1 could not look meaner, could it? Well, what if we said it could? The proofs are the images on this article, created by Idries Noah, the New Zealand’s designer that has also drawn another incredible machine, the Ferrari F250 Concept.

The idea for the FireBlade was to “reflect raw power” and to “be a brute, a car that has muscle car qualities”, according to Noah. Inspired on mythical vehicles such as Shelby Daytona and Corvette Stingray, the FireBlade would have a promising career if it ever had the chance to see the production lines. Meanwhile, it is just a reinterpretation of an already fantastic machine.

Anyway, considering the automotive world is very dynamic, we would not be surprised if someone got interested in bringing this car to life. We just hope it to be soon!

the front oddly resembles that shelby cobra concept. it does look hot though.

Lights and front scoop make it look too much like a Saturn. Other than that... it has Vette qualities -- nice.

looks good but 5 bucks says it wont look anything like this if it comes out...it'll be waayyy tamer...it's just their style

+1, might as well be looking at someone's crazy drawings next to you in your english class hah. This thing is silly. . . so over done and so far from reality that it's almost pointless. Subtle concepts, like the ones BMW makes, are understandable because they do really show concepts that they might be using on their production model. Not some bat mobile looking, Lamborghini Reventon wanna be, over done. . . "beast."

So this thing is cool, in terms of the designers creativity and his ability to design. But nothing more. IMO.
