AA Headers, Tune, and Exhaust, 3 Stage IM, etc.
Went ahead and finally put together everything I've done, for some reason I couldn't reply to the original post I made, but I figure if the topic is N/A power here is better anyway lol
So, like I stated before, the motor was fully replaced at about 42k on the clock; due to a "spun bearing" Since the motor was replaced, I had the following done - -Active Autowerke Headers -Active Autowerke Gen 2 Midpipe -Active Autowerke Axleback Gen 2 Exhaust -Active Autowerke Stage 3+ Tune -3 Stage Intake Manifold from 330i -Air Intake Box Charcoal Delete -Megan Euro Street Coilovers I decided Active because I attended a meet where they had a tent and inquired about a stage 1 tune on the car. Don't get me wrong, I looked into other tunes but they seemed the best. When I got there, They actually hooked me up with a full exhaust - which then in turn made me get the headers and then find a 330i manifold. The 3 Stage IM makes A VERY BIG DIFFERENCE. It is recommended 100% on any E90 325i/328i. I'm not sure on actual numbers, I'm actually waiting on a sales rep from Simota Performance on pricing for the V2 Intake (Per AA). Once that's installed, I will Dyno. The car actually feels more fun. It doesn't feel like a grocery getter that's as slow as my neighbors Honda. It also feels more immediate when you actually throttle; but I'm sure that has more to do with removing the charcoal filter from the intake and the tune from Active - which I suggest over any of the PBX or Sprint Booster devices. I've heard one person with a similar setup complain about exhaust drone while driving, but I don't have any issues. Even drove with Andrew from Active to confirm I'm not going crazy. The sound is quite reminiscent of a E36 ///M3 Euro with a Supersprint setup, Loud enough at WOT but not raspy whatsoever. It's a very clean sound that receives compliments daily. I chose the Megan Euro Street Coils because I wanted something affordable, but still had all adjustability for ride comfort and handling. The ride is actually pretty smooth and they get low enough to get rid of wheel gap. It actually rides pretty similar to OEM if I could compare it. The nice thing is you can actually adjust dampening and spring rate for your personal ride comfort. As she sits now - Outter DISA valve - Front portion of headers - Adjustable exhaust tips - I'll get some flyby/idle/rev-limiter and DYNO videos soon. *SN* It seems the pics aren't loading properly, I'll fix that when I get home. Just to be clear, I obviously didn't want the fastest car; I wanted something basic and fun. I hear it all the time - "You shoulda got a 335i" or "Just turbo it!" but that's not what I want. I can still honestly say its a really fun car.

Supposedly. Haven't seen it myself, but a friend of mine in an E36 ran with me to a meet and said it shot out a big one on the upshift.

As a funny White Guy pretending to be Jamaican in a Volkswagen commercial once said - "Don fret me bruddah. [Sticky Bun, in this case videos] Come soon!"

Still waiting on intake. The only thing I can compare to right now is a stock new mustang (obviously v6 and possibly bad driver) and a 3000gt vr-4 (falling apart)
so nothing solid yet.
