Upgrading all car bulbs to led's
Currently got a e91 pre lci that has factory xenons and dark line rear lights.
I want to upgrade all of my bulbs to led's at the side and rear ive done my angels and fogs plus reverse lights are led's all errors have been coded, been told that at the rear it's a bad idea due to the fact that the brake light if it were a led it would not go brighter? Which is obv very dangerous and illegal. has anyone upgraded there bulbs to led's? Thanks 👍 |

I have been trying this and it's difficult.
I now have LED front and rear indicators (Pre-LCI), LED front fogs, front HIDS, rear LED number plate lights too. I have red LED rear bulbs that physically fit but they are so unbelievably dim it's dangerous. Even the tail lights. They don't get any brighter and are too dim standard to use at all. I also removed my LED reverse lights as in normal daylight they just can't be seen clearly either. I'll be flogging my rear LED indicator bulbs soon if you're after any as I've just fitted an LCI boot lid so will be getting LCI rear outer lights too. |

It's funny you should of said that about the reverse led's in the day especially in the sun it was not bright at all, at night much better than oem.
The other option is Phillips bright bulbs might be better option Yeah cool let me know what your after for the side led's. How soon would u want to sell as I'm after some right now 👍 |
