Yeah I just don't want him to think that there's no love for him anymore
Not taking anything away from FMinus but Picus was the inspiration for me!

Yeah but not as a business.
I've thought about it but just haven't scooped up enough cajones to do it.
I have a day job so weekends would be the only time to do it and that's when I usually spend the most time with the family....
I've been just doing it off and on for family (they can't complain either way )

Maybe picus is just too busy to post anymore, I remember he used to post a lot of detailed cars, and with warmer weather coming I'm sure business is great for him.

Sweet flyers!
Thanks for sharing.
Yeah compared to your's, mine is dismal.
All I have is a PC and a Dewalt polisher that someone gave me yesterday! (Sorry ADHD, I was going to buy yours but free..?)
I have Zaino, Megs, and some Menzerma stuff but I've been skeptical on getting a foam cannon or water filtration system.
I've been practicing a lot of several cars and so far the Mercedes (black) was the only car that kicked my arse. That paint is hard.
But I agree... once you start, it's hard to stop buying the stuff. Every car seems to want/need something a bit different.
Anyways back on topic...
Picus... where u at man?

again... (to me)

Practice and asking questions to other (more experienced) detailers.

Plus each product is designed for a specific purpose. Wheel cleaners, tire cleaners, engine degreaser, carpet cleaner, polishes, sealants...ect.. different products for different things. It really is not that hard to understand, developing your skills and techniques is what makes a great detailer.

I miss hearing answers and comments from Picus. He is always polite, articulate, knowledgable, and a gentleman. He is a credit to the boards.

Last I heard, he was putting up a garage for the business.

Hey guys; I still check in occasionally! I'm just really busy! This winter I built a garage and now the spring season is starting to ramp up so you know how it goes. In any event, if anyone ever needs anything you can always e-mail me. I'll try to pop in more often. <3

It's good to hear that business is so good that you can afford the capital to build a new garage!
Thanks for stopping by!

Me too. His new car prep guide was my bible and got me ready to take delivery of my car last year. Thanks to that guide my car got a proper first detail and is swirl-free to this day.
