Labor for motor mounts?
Whats reasonable labor for motor mounts on a e90 335, or even something similar you guys have paid for your e90s or e92?

Not the easiest of jobs as the shop will have to lift the engine to remove and install. I did my mounts when I did my oil pan gasket as it was a perfect time. If JUST doing the mounts I would expect a good shop could do this in about 2 hours.

Yup the n52 is easy to change out the mounts. I did mine in under two hours I bet under jack stands.
From what I understand though, is that with the n54/55 you will need to remove the right engine mount support to clear the downpipes or remove the actual downpipe.. This will give you an idea of what is required: http://www.n54tech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=22841 |
