Creaking dashboard

Hi all

I've got a 2011 E92 330d coupe. Recently it's developed a really annoying creak on/in the dashboard. This occurs when going over some bumps but also when I turn corners. Any ideas? The car is out of main warranty, but I've got the full BMW extended warranty. Any chance this might be covered under the warranty?

Best way is take dashboard off, check main frame and refit foam. Very time consuming job, but this is good solution.

Drill a hole in the top and fill it with expanding foam *

Drive with both the cup holder's open and see if it goes. Mine rattle, but only on certain road surfaces.

This happened on my F10. They had to take all the dash out and it ended up being some soundproofing that had melted, so metal was touching plastic. Creaked on bunps and corners. All sorted under BMW warranty now.
