Also, I just remembered if I get the asking price I will include a set of the rare flush LCI roof rails.
They are normally £250 to buy as a new retrofit kit.
They have been primed ready to spray piano black to match the other trim but I never got round to spraying/fitting.

Hmmm should I swap the 335d for this. I NEED a red touring but can't find 335d touring - has this had mapping? DPF removal? Etc

I've only ever seen one red 335d touring in the 3 years Ive owned this one.
Ive also only ever seen two other 330d touring, one M Sport and one SE.

It is remapped and still has the DPF.

Two front Continental Contact Sport 3's fitted this morning costing £297

try getting them in manual and you're looking for rare cars im told. that being said, I have a black touring m sport and our kid (my brother for the southerners on forum ) has a touring SE. bought within a week of each other too.

can't help but think this car is too cheap, given ive been weighing up how much i'll let mine go for and the starting price is a grand more. and its only got 20k lower miles and the gladen to set it apart. anyways, good luck with sale mate.

I put it up for 7 a while ago and decided to keep it, at 7k everyone said it was too expensive. You can't win!
I priced it at 6 to take into account the few little bits needing sorting, but I wouldn't take a penny less, it's far too good to give away and id be more than happy to carry on enjoying it

So the stupid offers have already started.
Offering £700 less than the advertised price is hardly a sensible offer

I recently sold my e91 Lci. Advertised it for 10.5k which was the valuation price. Had numerous lowball offers in the region of 9-9.5k rolling in. People just want everything for peanuts these days.

Good luck with the sale. She's lovely on that colour!

My opinion on this is that I think your car is worth the asking price but no one will want to pay the asking price. We all want a deal. £700 less is just over 10% discount so I think that is fair ask and certainly worth trying.

Apart from the rust issue I can't see anything bad. Nearly all cars have curbed alloys and stone chips on the front bumpers. Have you advertised on Ebay?

Sadly there are some utter morons in the BMW community.

I have never encountered so many time wasters since being a BMW owner.

I've been buying and selling cars / parts since 2008 in the MINI community, and never once have I been messed about.

In the space of a month I have encountered THREE idiots whilst trying to sell one item!!!

I feel for you mate

GLTWS, lovely car and a great spec for the money!!!

If people aren't happy to pay 6500 for it then they've got a lovely choice of 330d M Sport Tourings with manual box on AT, currently they're all either way over the mileage of this one or similar and half don't have CCC idrive, let alone CIC with combox and every related extra possible, heated seats, HIFI sound, factory bi xenons etc.
I'm in no rush

I've not listed it any where else yet as I am off on holiday for the week, so will be listing it elsewhere when I get back

I don't think a £700 discount is a ludicrous ask. Don't take it personally. You only have to say no. It will be right for someone at some point.

Lovely car, lovely colour. I messaged you about it last month but you never replied! The problem with buying modified cars or things that have been upgraded, is people see that as a perk and not a reason to pay more. There will be someone out there who is looking for that exact car. If your in no rush then hold out for the price you want.

Just been to Cornwall, got 550 miles out of a full tank.
330 of those were cruising at 70-80mph, so pretty good economy!
The day before we left there was a slight drone starting to come from the front, so its had a new front hub/wheel bearing fitted.

I see another red 330d M Sport Touring has just appeared on AT, only this one has no idrive, is automatic and currently at 8 grand!
If anyone wants mine for 6.5 then be quick, otherwise it will be going on AT and eBay at 7k.

I would consider a part ex for an LCI or late pre LCI 330d/335i/335d E90/E91 must have xenons and CIC idrive, or none at all. (Ie. no CCC idrive)

why not look for one with and then swap yours over?

^^ This. you could advertise for 4500 and someone will offer you 700 less.
I used to be an estate agent - its just the nature of sales and selling. You should always build in some negotiating room, never advertise at the lowest price you would take as people always offer less. It's psychological - people want to think they are getting some money off something rather than paying full price for the item they are buying. Increase your price if you want 6500. As someone has said, 700 off is not a ludicrous offer when spending this amount of money. Unfortunately that leaves you with a too low amount for the car as you've already priced it rock bottom. Again, increase your price. Problem now is people on here have seen it at 6500 so you have to advertise elsewhere at the higher price now.
